John Mensah Sarpong(JMS) joined the Ghana Music Industry in 1994 as one of the best gospel music
 producers. JMS productions has about twenty
Gospel Musical Albums under its label  and our 
record label is unique among the
recording companies in Ghana.

JMS Productions attaches a lot of importance
to developing our artistes and enhancing their
image globally. We have an established 
and vibrant global distribution network
which ensures that the works of our artistes
gets to the market place.The end result is the
many "popular" artistes
we have on our label.

Our goal is to promote creativity and talents
in Gospel music and also employ the
resources at our disposal to improve the
Ghanaian music industry as a whole.

The hardwork of JMS Productions has been
rewarded  and recognised in many
ways. The production of the Gospel All Stars
Album entitled " W' ASEDA NIE "
in 2002 attests to our creativity. In that year,
this song was awarded the gospel song
of the year by the Ghana Music Awards.

Our performance in the Music Industry has
been distinct. This has culminated in the election
of our Executive Producer, Mr. John Mensah
Sarpong as the President of the Ghana
Association of Phonographic Industry(GAPI)
for the second term. GAPI is an umbrella body
encompassing record label companies in the
Ghanaian Music Industry.

The visionary leadership of Mr. John Mensah
Sarpong has led the association to bring to
the fore many challenges confronting the
music industry. A typical example
is the current debate on the payment of
royalties to music producers.
